From application to first paid task

Onboarding takes most communities under a week. Your ActionBoard partner walks you through each step.

1Apply & choose your type

Tell us about your community and pick a type. We confirm fit and set your pod's starting templates.

2Connect local providers

Link a payment provider so members are paid in local currency, and an identity provider for member vetting.

3Verify & calibrate members

Members verify identity, declare expertise, and pass a short calibration set to unlock the paid queue.

4Open the queue & get paid

Open your pod's task queue. First payouts typically land within the first cycle.

Where ActionBoard started — and who's building it

ActionBoard began with a simple frustration: the people with the deepest hands-on expertise — machinists, nurses, field technicians, local translators — were the ones least able to capture value from the AI trained on their work.

Founded by ex-AWS, EMC, Capital One and SecurityOps engineers, we set out to flip that. Instead of scraping expertise into a model owned elsewhere, ActionBoard lets a community run its own AI pod — verify its members, do paid closed-loop work, and keep 100% of what the NGO earns.

Today the network spans manufacturing floors in Nagoya, vision-labs at AIUB, and NGO pods across four regions — every one running the same closed-loop standard.

How companies find the right SME for a project

Companies find action-assist SMEs and AI service companies through the Voltron SME Match List. You post a Mission Brief; Voltron researches the network, matches experts, and returns competing estimates — then the two ActionBoards pair into a shared AI pod to deliver the work.

Post a Mission Brief → generate an ActionList

The company creates a Mission Brief describing the project. ActionBoard turns it into an ActionList that lays out exactly what needs to be done.

Green Agent researches & builds the SME Match List

The Voltron Green Agent runs SME profile research across the network and returns a Voltron SME Match List — the experts and AI service companies that can take on the mission.

Mission workpackages released to SME ActionBoards

The mission is split into workpackages and released to the matched SMEs. Each SME's profile ActionBoard receives the incoming mission brief.

SMEs auto-respond with estimates

Each SME's ActionBoard runs its auto action workflow and responds back with an estimate and a link to its Vision ActionBoard.

The company picks the SME it likes most

The customer compares the responses and Vision ActionBoards, then picks the SME ActionBoard that fits the project best.

A shared AI pod is established

The two sides establish a shared AI pod to exchange tool and model access, then execute the ActionList together.

Yellow Lion clears payment terms & quality

The Voltron Yellow Lion inspects all payment terms and quality controls. Once they pass, payment is released from the user's ActionBoard to the SME wallet.

Paid to the SME wallet

The SME wallet links to Stripe and local payment providers per region. All income tax and service fees are paid by the SME.
